Deep Bed Media Scrubbers

Due to ongoing corporate concerns for employee health and safety, sales of our leading edge technology "Deep Bed Media Drum Scrubbers" have substantially increased over the past year.

Maple Leaf Environmental and Filter Innovations have combined their efforts to design, manufacture and service these scrubbers for odor and corrosion control purposes. Our technology is known for its reliability in effectively removing organic and inorganic compounds and odors, including a wide range of hydrocarbons from the air.

In addition to essential air purification, "Deep Bed Media Drum Scrubbers" provide companies with the added insurance of maintaining a "corrosion free" environment thereby preserving the longevity of expensive process control instrumentation.

"Deep Bed Media Drum Scrubbers" consist of single or multiple chambered contactor vessels constructed from high grade stainless steel, carbon steel, high-density polyethylene or aluminum, which are filled with a predetermined media to best remove the targeted contaminants. Design criteria such as, controlled airflow including residence or contact time within the media, are but a few of the constants that must be established before manufacturing begins. The media absorbs the contaminants within its pore structure, allowing for clean air to discharge from the contactor vessel.

Systems are typically skid mounted with air blower design and engineered to overcome pressure losses throughout the media vessel including, any external static pressure losses originating from particle filters, mist eliminators, ductwork and other system internals.

Our scrubbers are custom designed to treat a wide range of air flow levels, typically between 50 CFM and 100,000 CFM. Installation of our systems involves a safe and easy linkage that connects the scrubber inlet and discharge to the process piping.

Should parameters fluctuate after installation additional components such as inlet mist and particle filters can easily be added to prevent blinding of the filtration media. Furthermore, scrubber maintenance is minimized and the longevity of the media based is maximized due to engineered performance efficiencies.

We offer the most cost effective and reliable air purification system on the market. Easy installation and low maintenance design of "Deep Bed Media Drum Scrubbers" make them superior to other technologies, such as wet scrubbers or chemical applications.

Our "Deep Bed Media Drum Scrubbers" are the best solution for odor and corrosion control.

Wireless Web Based MLE-Site Link Telemetry

Over the last year, the standard MLE-Site Link telemetry system has evolved to incorporate wireless web based technology for both relay and PLC based control systems. Our wireless telemetry package includes all the standard features of the original dial-up based MLE-Site Link package. These features include:

  • A process and instrumentation (P&ID) layout of the system that displays the pressure, temperature, and flow rate where appropriate transmitters have been installed
  • Individual control of each motor in the system
  • A display of all inputs and analog values in real-time
  • Remote reset of alarms
  • Remote shutdown and restart

In addition to the above standard features, the wireless telemetry package gives users the ability to connect to their systems using a personal computer and the MLEE software package, or using any computer with MS Internet Explorer. It is also able to send an email or text message upon system alarm, eliminating the need for an autodialer for alarm notification.

When wireless telemetry is integrated into a system, MLEE supplies the cellular service and initial setup. This relieves customers of having to shop for cellular service providers and simplifies purchasing by having everything provided by one vendor. Troubleshooting remediation system difficulties is also made more efficient by having MLEE supply all software and hardware required to operate wireless telemetry systems.

Our wireless telemetry package is also ideal for mobile systems. Dial-up telemetry would require a phone line to be installed at each site location, where wireless telemetry does not. This allows for more system flexibility with lower on-site installation costs.
